I’ve been working with some new images lately in some mixed format pieces inspired by an in progress version of a previous piece. It’s a mixture of filtered photograph, vector and halftone. This is an early version of the first piece.

Here’s the newest version of the current work in progress. This one has taken me a while due to life interruptions. I still need to do clean up work on the background and place finishing effects, but the composition as a whole is coming together on this one.

So the Immortals show is down and it’s time to start working on new stuff. Overall I have mixed feelings about how the show went. There were a couple of things that I was a bit disappointed by, but whatever. I’ve been working on a new series of spokecards that I plan to put out at local shops as freebies. I know a few places that are cool with this sort of thing, so bob’s your uncle.

I’m also in possession of a large stack of lino prints that are needing to be pasted up as well as a large stack of laser printer stickers that would look much nicer on a sign or two. I’m trying a new approach to marketing my work over the next 6 months or so to see if it works.
